In cooperation with the Municipality of Papagou-Holargos and in particular with the Deputy Mayor of Social Policy, Youth and Employment Promotion, Mrs. Maria Athanasakou-Mountaki we are implementing the psycho-educational action myART mySTORY, aimed at enhancing mental resilience through therapeutic art groups.
It is an open action addressed to adults - regardless of their characteristics (gender, age, etc.), who are interested in experimenting and expressing themselves creatively in order to explore mental health issues that we all face in our daily lives.
Two groups operate:
- GROUP 1 - Choreokinetic and visual therapy
- GROUP 2 - Drama Therapy and Therapeutic Photography
The themes for both groups are the following:
- Recognise & manage my emotions
- Knowing myself better
- Connect & communicate with others
- How do I manage failure?
- I dream my future
Team meetings have started and will last for six months. We expect to receive significant feedback on the community response to therapeutic interventions through the arts, which we will then share at an open event.
